Kim Barmettler will take a three-shot lead into Monday’s final round of the Bulldog Classic being played at the Kirksville Country Club.
The Bulldogs lead the six-team field with a first-day total of 347, five shots ahead of the University of Sioux Falls (S.D.).
Barmettler led the field with 10 pars on the day and was +2 on the par fives en route to a nine-over par 83.
Jessica Tomash was even on the par fours and +3 on the par threes to sit three shots behind at 86.
Tomash is tied with Sioux Falls’ Tavia Rutherford, who also carded an 86.
Riley Keltner is tied for fifth after an 88 and Kathryn Hogan was tied for seventh after shooting 90.
Lynn Dreisiker is tied for ninth with a 91.
The Truman team shot 347 with Sioux Falls trailing by five shots with a 352.
The Bulldogs second team shot a 400 with Courtney Cisler pacing that squad with a 96.
The tournament will resume on Monday morning with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.
