(AP) - The St. Louis Rams had a dress rehearsal at the Edward Jones Dome, giving the new coaching staff and new players a sneak peak at their stadium.

The 2 1/2-hour practice at the stadium Saturday also provided an announced crowd of 12,753 fans an opportunity to watch the Rams under first-year coach Jeff Fisher.

The team did individual drills, 1-on-1s and 7-on-7s before ending the practice with situational scrimmages.

The biggest cheers came when kickers Garrett Lindholm and rookie Greg Zuerlein had what came off as an impromptu competition.

Each got six kicks starting at 39-yard attempts and each made the first four distances. Zuerlein added a 59-yarder and just missed to the left from 64 yards.

Wide receiver Brandon Gibson also had a couple of nice catches, as did hometown product Mike McNeil, one of eight tight ends in camp.

The Rams open their preseason Aug. 12 at Indianapolis.
