Truman Track & Field compete in Iowa

The Bulldog Track & Field teams headed north to Central College on Saturday for the Central Invitational.

Taylor Dinyer won the triple jump for the women while Zach Thomas finished second in the 400 meter hurdles to lead the teams.
 
Dinyer jumped 34-04.25 in the triple jump to claim first while other top performers on the women’s side were Rachel McCarroll in the discus and hammer (2nd-128-01 & 5th –155-01) and Katie Hines in the pole vault (3rd-10-02.00).
 
Thomas set season best marks in both hurdle events as he ran 55.70 for his silver in the 400 and 16.29 in the 110.

Joey Walls was sixth in the 800 meter run crossing in 1:54.91 and Derek Atwood was sixth in the discus with a personal best 151-08.
 
The teams will compete the day before Easter at the Northwest Missouri Open in Maryville next Saturday
