Senior Jennifer Zweifel earned her third MIAA Track & Field Athlete of the Week by shattering her own school record and posting the second best triple jump in Division II this season at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge last Friday.

Zweifel  leaped 40-09.00 in her second jump to claim first in the triple jump at Mizzou.

She passed on her final three jumps having secured first place by over two feet.

That jump is the second to only Amanda Ouedraogo of Abilene Christian in Division II. Ouedraogo has a jump of 42-04.75.

The previous school record was also held by Zweifel of 40-00.00 that was set in 2011 at the MIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Zweifel and the rest of the Bulldog Track & Field teams will be heading to Joplin this week for the conference championships.
