Kirksville wins Class 2 state wrestling championship

Kirksville won the class 2 team title at the Missouri high School wrestling championships Saturday in Columbia.

Justin VanHoose, Austin Roper, and Travis Lang all had pins as they won individual championships.

VanHoose became the 21st wrestler in Missouri to win for state titles while Roper and Lang have both won three.

Makenna Cook lost his championship match at 160.

The tigers Ethan Rentschler finnished fifth at 106  while Chris Hooper was fourth at 152.
