Indian Hills has come up with two opponents to take the place of Southeastern Community College on the Warriors’ basketball schedule.
The Warriors were slated to play SCC on Feb. 4 at the Hellyer Center and on Feb. 25 in West Burlington.
Southeastern, though, has forfeited the final 12 games of the 2011-12 season, including the two matchups with Indian Hills, after 10 SCC players were kicked off the team for violating college and athletic department rules and two other players were declared academically ineligible.
Indian Hills will now play Clinton Community College at home on Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. and will travel to Chicago to take on Kennedy-King College on Feb. 25 in a 3 p.m. game.
The Warriors will host the Hy-Vee Classic this weekend and Kennedy-King will be their opponent on Saturday night at 7. The night before, IHCC will battle Olive-Harvey, another Chicago school, also at 7:00.
