(AP) - Part of the reason why Dwyane Wade and LeBron James wanted to be teammates was their close friendship.
Turns out, neither Miami Heat star knew how deep those ties bind.
In an interview with The Associated Press on Friday Wade and James spoke about how their friendship has grown and how they believe they're better suited in Year 2 of their basketball partnership to help bring the Heat a title.
They're known to bicker like brothers, have liberty to criticize the other at any time and savor the moments in practice when they have the chance to attack one another.
In calmer moments, the Heat stars say they baby-sit each other's kids, are often inseparable on game days and rely on the other as much as they rely on anyone.
