The Rams Steven Jackson Ready For The NFL Season To Start

(AP) -- St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson has six consecutive 1,000-yard seasons.

And this might be the best team he's played for headed into Sunday's season opener at home against the Eagles.

The Rams' all-time leading rusher and two-time Pro Bowler is enthusiastic about what the new campaign may bring for the Rams.

St. Louis finished 7-9 last year and missed out on winning the NFC West in the final game of the season.
