Brookfield Bulldogs take the 75th annual Bell Game

BROOKFIELD,MO. -- The Brookfield Bulldogs defeated the Marceline Tigers 41-0 on Friday night to win the 75th annual Bell Game.

The Bulldogs improve to 2-0 on the season while the Marceline Tigers drop to 1-1.

It was the first time since 2006 that the Tigers had been shut out in the Bell Game. The Tigers lost that game 26-0.

It was the largest defeat for the Bulldogs against the Tigers since 1998. Brookfield won that game 48-12.

The bell returns to Brookfield for the second straight year.
