(AP) - Funeral services will be held Monday for a Texas firefighter who had a fatal fall when reaching out to grab a baseball tossed his way during the Rangers game.

Services will be held at First United Methodist in Brownwood, a town about 150 miles from Arlington where 39-year Shannon Stone had been a firefighter for 18 years.

Visitation is scheduled Sunday night at Davis Morris FuneralHome in Brownwood.

Stone died from blunt force trauma less than an hour after he tumbled headfirst over a rail and fell about 20 feet out of the left-field seats onto concrete during a game Thursday night.

The man was at the game with his 6-year-old son, Cooper.
