(AP) -- The St. Louis Blues will begin the 2011-12 season at home.
The NHL team announced Thursday that it will open the season with home games Oct. 8 against Nashville and Oct. 10 against Calgary.
The Blues then play the next four games on the road against Pacific Division foes.
St. Louis will have 19 home games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
The Blues play six games against each - three at home and three on the road - against their Central Division rivals: Chicago,
Columbus, Detroit and Nashville.
The Blues play four each against other Western Conference opponents.
Eastern Conference teams visiting St. Louis include the Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins, who come to the Scottrade Center on Feb. 22.
