(AP) -- Duke point guard Kyrie Irving, who was limited by a toe injury to just 11 games in his lone season in
college, is the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft.
The Cleveland Cavaliers, who need just about everything following their 19-63
record last season in their first year without LeBron James, are penciling Irving in at point guard.
Four of the top seven lottery picks went to international players.
Here's the lowdown on the rest of the top 10 picks:
Arizona forward Derrick Williams, the Pac-10 player of theyear, went No. 2 to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 6-8, 248-poundis projected either as a small or strong forward in the NBA.
The Utah Jazz, who have two picks in the first round, Turkish big man Enes Kanter.
The 6-11 Kanter wanted to play college ball at Kentucky, but the NCAA ruled he was ineligible for college play because he had played for money in Turkey.
The Cavs also had the fourth pick and they took 6-8 Texas forward Tristan Thompson.
Cleveland is the first team since the 1983 Houston Rockets with two picks in the top four.
At No. 5, the Toronto Raptors took Jonas Valanciunas
a 6-11, 231-pound center from Lithuania.
The book on him is he's a good shooter but needs to get stronger.
Another international player, Jan Vesely of the Czech Republic, goes at six to the Washington Wizards. He's a 6-11 forward with quickness.
Charlotte traded up to take Bismack Biyombo at No. 7. He's an under-the-radar type player who's projected as one of the top defensive prospects in the draft.
With the eighth pick, the Detroit Pistons took Kentucky guard Brandon Knight.
He averaged 17.3 points and 4.2 assists per game in his lone season with the Wildcats.
Connecticut guard Kemba Walker of the national champion Huskies went at nine to the Charlotte Bobcats.
He was named most outstanding player at the Final Four.
He averaged 23.5 points during the NCAA tournament, but is barely 6-1.
Rounding out the top 10, Sacramento traded up in a proposed deal with Milwaukee and took the AP national player of the year, Jimmer Fredette )from BYU.
He averaged 28.9 points per game this season, scoring from outlandish places on the court.
