Iowa wraps up state track meet Saturday

DES MOINES, IOWA -- The Iowa state track and field meet at Drake Stadium in Des Moines concluded Saturday with two local athletes crowned as champions.

Ottumwa’s Kevin Lewis won the class 4A 1600 meter run with a time of 4:14.20.  Mount Pleasant’ Brandon Moorman won the class 3A 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.94.

The Ottumwa boys team finished with 29 points.  That was good enough for 8th place in class 4A.
