Ryan was a four-year letter winner for the tigers from 1992-95.
During that time, he was a part of the winningest four year stretch in the history of tiger baseball as his squads compiled an overall record of 68 wins with only 14 losses for an astounding .829 winning percentage.
During that span, the Tigers captured 2 – North Central Missouri Conference titles; 3 – District Championships; 2 – sectional titles; and made 2 trips to the Class 3 Final Four, finishing 3rd in 1994 and finishing 1st in 1995.
In addition to winning the state title in 1995, Ryan was honored as an All-State performer to cap off an incredible senior season.
During his four years in the program, Ryan was one of the most dominant pitchers in school history.
In 1995 he was 8-0 which is #1 in a single season for winning % and #3 in a single season for wins.
In addtion, his 2 shut-outs that season also rank #1 in a single season and his 5.1:1 k/bb ratio is good for #3 all-time in a single season, while his 3 saves in 1993 are also good for #3 in a single season.
His 3 shut-outs and 2.39 era are good for #3 all-time, while his 13-3 pitching record is good for a .813 winning percentage which is #4 all-time amongst pitchers with at least 15 decisions. His 3 career saves are also good for #4 all-time and his 2.8:1 k/bb ratio is good for #5 all-time.
After his career at KHS, Ryan went on to play collegiate baseball at Indian Hills Community College in 1996, Kansas City Kansas Community College in 1997, and finished his collegiate career at Pittsburgh State University playing there from 1998-99.

Sean was a member of the inaugural Kirksville High School baseball team in 1988 and went on to become a four-year letter winner for the Tigers from 1988-91.
During that time, Sean saw the team build from its infancy to winning the first ever North Central Missouri Conference, district, and sectional titles in 1991.
Sean was an integral part of the earl y Tiger baseball teams and the 1991 team that went on to finish 17-3 overall which still stands as the 2nd best single season winning % in school history.
A great lead-off hitter and centerfielder for the Tigers, he created havoc on the bases with his great speed, was a very tough out at the plate, and played a very steady centerfield with great range.
His name can still be found through-out the Tiger baseball record book as his .489 average in 1990 still ranks #1 all-time for a single season and his 24 stolen bases in 1991 are still good for #2 all-time in a single season. For his career, Sean’s 43 stolen bases are good for #3 all-time and his .414 career batting average is good for #5 all-time.
After his career at KHS, Sean went on to play football at Northwest Missouri State University before transferring to Northeast Missouri State University to play football and baseball.
