Twin brothers Matt and Justin Cook, a current Indian Hills baseball player and a former Falcon, were honored this past weekend in their hometown in Canada.

The Cook brothers were saluted as athletes of the year at the Dresden Sports Hall of Fame dinner and induction ceremony.

Matt Cook is a redshirt sophomore at Indian Hills where he is one of the top starting pitchers and a regular in the lineup when he's not pitching for the Falcons.

His batting average was around .300 heading into the weekend and he is among the team leaders in homers and RBIs.

Justin Cook graduated from Indian Hills last May after playing two years for the Falcons. He is now at Texas Southern University where he has a .328 batting average, leads the team in doubles with 12 and has 18 RBIs.

Justin has also appeared in 11 games as a pitcher for the Tigers.
