Jackie Bishop of Missouri Western continues to spin the ball well in the circle as she picked up two more shutouts last week which included a no hitter in the Griffons home opener and first game at the new Griffon Spring Sports Complex against Southwest Baptist last Monday.

Bishop threw all seven innings striking out 11 while walking just one.

She followed that performance with a complete game two hitter while striking out two in a 7-0 victory over Lincoln.

Bishop improves her overall record to 16-2 with a 0.88 ERA.

She has pitched 16 complete games with four solo shutouts and one combined.

Her no hitter was the first thrown in the 10 years coach Jen Bagley had been at Western.

Bishop will pitch in Kirksville Friday and Saturday at the MIAA Crossover Tournament, and Sunday against Truman State.
