(AP) --  Two Missouri starters have declared for the NBA draft on the same day the school is expected to approve a contract to hire Miami's Frank Haith as its new men's basketball coach.

Juniors Kim English and Laurence Bowers announced Monday that they plan to pursue pro careers but have not hired agents. That means they can return to school if their NBA plans don't work out.

The announcement comes as Missouri curators prepare to meet Monday night in a closed meeting.

A person with knowledge of the negotiations told The Associated Press late Sunday that Haith is headed to Columbia after seven seasons in south Florida.
