(AP) --  Jake Odum and Jordan Printy each scored
17 points and Indiana State held off Northern Iowa 76-74 Tuesday
night to clinch the No. 3 seed for next week's Missouri Valley
tournament.

RJ Mahurin added 11 points, and the Sycamores (16-13, 11-6)
guaranteed themselves a winning record in consecutive regular
seasons for the first time since 1999-2000 and 2000-01.

Anthony James scored 18 points and Johnny Moran had 17 for the
Panthers (19-11, 10-7), who have lost four of five following a
season-high eight-game losing streak.

Leading 50-49 with 7:38 to play, Indiana State went on a 10-2
run to match its biggest lead, 60-51 with 4:43 remaining. Northern
Iowa then rallied within 75-74 on Kwadzo Ahelegbe's 3-pointer with
5 seconds to go, but the Panthers failed to attempt another shot.
