IOWA CITY, IOWA (AP) -- Freshman Tim Hardaway Jr. scored a career-high 30 points to lead Michigan to a 75-72 overtime victory over Iowa on Saturday.

Hardaway, who scored 22 points in the second half, hit two free throws with 15 seconds left in a one-point game to help the Wolverines (17-11, 7-8 Big Ten) win for the sixth time in eight games.

Iowa missed two 3-pointers in the final six seconds that would have tied the game.

Darius Morris scored 20 points and Jordan Morgan added 18 points for Michigan. The Wolverines allowed a 26-6 run late in the first half and trailed for the first 11 minutes of the second half.

Freshman Melsahn Basabe scored 19 for the Hawkeyes (10-17, 3-12), who played their second game in three days. Iowa has lost four straight.
