(AP) -- Ben Simons scored 18 points as Drake ran
its winning streak to three games with a 67-64 victory over
Creighton on Tuesday night.

Rayvonte Rice added 16 points and Seth VanDeest 12 for the
Bulldogs (11-14, 6-8 Missouri Valley). Simons also had team highs
of eight rebounds and three assists.

Antoine Young's career-high 24 points led the Bluejays (15-11,
7-7), and Gregory Echenique added 11.

Young scored Creighton's final nine points in helping turn a
nine-point deficit with 2:28 left into a 66-64 game with 5 seconds
to go.

Kurt Alexander sank a free throw for Drake with 3 seconds left,
and then Young's last-second half-court shot hit the backboard and
the front of the rim before bouncing away.

Drake led by 10 in the first half but went into intermission up
only 29-28. Tied 49-49, Jordan Clarke's basket gave the Bulldogs
the lead for good with 8:44 left.
