Truman State Wrestling Sweeps Central Baptist

The Bulldog wrestling team was perfect on the night as they dealt visiting Central Baptist College (Ark.) a 54-0 defeat in Pershing Arena on Friday night.

Nick Shea won the opening match of the night by pinfall over Nathaniel Waldrip at the 1:10 mark and Ryan Maus followed with a medical forfeit win in the second match at 141.

The Bulldogs move to 3-0 in duals this season and will next be in action at the MIAA Duals in Omaha, Neb. on Feb. 13th.

133 – Nick Shea (Truman) wins via fall (1:10) over Nathaniel Waldrip (CBC)

141 – Ryan Maus (Truman) wins by medical forfeit over Dontavious Gardenhire (CBC)

149 – Double forfeit

157 – Colton Schmitz (Truman) wins via fall (1:24) over Nathan Velde CBC)

165 – Andy Bader (Truman) wins via fall (2:05) over Bradley Burnside (CBC)

174 – Chad Kurvoski (Truman) wins via forfeit

184 – Zach Hayes (Truman) wins via forfeit

197 – Max Muench (Truman) wins via forfeit

285 – Thomas Redmon (Truman) wins via fall (4:08) over John Lopez (CBC)
