IOWA CITY, IOWA (AP) -- Jaime Printy scored 27 points and Kamille Wahlin added 17 to help No. 14 Iowa beat Northern Iowa 75-64 on Wednesday night.

Leading 26-22, Iowa (12-1) went on a 14-3 run highlighted by a pair of 3-pointers by Kelly Krei.

The Hawkeyes built a 48-29 halftime advantage before Northern Iowa (7-4) opened the second half with an 18-4 run to close within five. Printy and Wahlin hit consecutive 3-pointers to restore the double-digit lead.

Northern Iowa cut the lead to six twice more time, 66-60 and 70-64, but never got closer.

Jacqui Kalin scored 18 points and Lizzie Boeck added 11 for Northern Iowa.

The win was the third in five days for Iowa, which opens Big Ten play on Dec. 30 at Penn State.
