LOUISVILLE, KY. -- Sophomore Karen Grauel finished 78th in a snowy, winter mix at the Division II Women's Cross Country National Championship race on Saturday.  The race was part of the NCAA Division II Fall Sports Festival.

Grauel finished the six kilometer course at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer Park in 23:07.5 while making her first appearance at the Division II championships and the fifth straight for a member of the Truman women’s cross country team.  Last season, Anne Ratermann placed 67th while Dani Dell’Orco finished 86th.

Truman’s best individual performance at nationals was a fifth place by Kerry Knepper in 1988.
