Northern Iowa hands TCU its 1st home loss, 64-60

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (AP) -- Kwadzo Ahelegbe scored 25 points and Northern Iowa handed TCU its first home loss of the season 64-60 Saturday.

Johnny Moran had 10 points for the Panthers (4-2) and Jake Koch finished with eight points and nine rebounds.

Garlon Green scored 14 point to lead the Horned Frogs (6-3), who fell to 5-1 at home. Sammy Yeager added 13 points and Nikola Gacesa had 12.

Neither team led by more than eight, and the game featured nine ties and 10 lead changes. Koch broke the final tie with a layup
that put Northern Iowa up 58-56 with 3:06 to play. He then added two free throws, and a foul shot from Johnny Moran with 1:45
remaining capped a 5-0 run by the Panthers.

TCU didn't get closer than three the rest of the way.

Northern Iowa took its largest lead, 12-4, with 12:20 left in the first half, and the Panthers went into halftime up 28-26.
