Truman State University men’s soccer player Bobby Larkin was named a second-team all-American by Daktronics on Thursday afternoon.

Larkin led Division II with his 17 assists and was the top player across all three divisions in assists per game at 1.06.

He tied the Truman program’s single-season record for assists in a season and finished his career fourth all-time with 27.

The senior also chipped in four goals to total 25 points on the year, as the Bulldogs finished the season 12-3-2 and reached the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2005.

He handed out three or more assists in a match four different times this season, including becoming the first player in program history to record four assists in a single match – doing so against Missouri-St. Louis on Oct. 7.
