CEDAR FALLS, IOWA (AP) -- Jake Koch scored 20 points and Anthony James added 13 as Northern Iowa defeated North Dakota 65-52 on Saturday night.

The Panthers (2-2) beat North Dakota for a third straight season and won their 17th straight at home, tying a school record set from 1962-65.

Aaron Anderson had 18 points off the bench for the Fighting Sioux (2-3).

Koch scored nine of Northern Iowa's 13 points during a second-half stretch of 7:31 in which North Dakota failed to score.

He had two 3-pointers during the run, which gave the Panthers a 56-42 cushion with 5:41 remaining.
