Truman’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be conducting food drives at several upcoming Bulldog home games.
The drive begins this Saturday at Stokes Stadium as the Bulldog Football team host the University of Central Missouri at 6:30 p.m.
Fans are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or a money donation to a table at the stadium and will then be entered in a drawing to win memorabilia from the Football team that evening.
Additional events with memorabilia from those specific teams are:
· Oct. 20th Volleyball vs. Emporia State (7:00 p.m.)
· Oct. 24th Men’s Soccer vs. Newman (12:00 p.m.)
· Oct. 30th Women’s Soccer vs. Washburn (12:00 p.m.)
· Nov. 6th Swimming vs. Missouri State (2:00 p.m.)
The food drive is one of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee’s yearly project and is done so in conjunction with other MIAA schools.
All food collected will be donated in local food banks for the upcoming holiday season.
