(AP) -- The Boston Celtics appear to be well on their way
to a second trip to the NBA Finals in three years. The Celts
carried a 21-point lead into the fourth quarter as they try to wrap
up the Eastern Conference finals on their third try.
Boston owned an 85-65 lead over Orlando with under nine minutes
to play. Paul Pierce had 23 points and 11 rebounds through three
periods, and Ray Allen had 18 points heading into the fourth.
Celtics forwards Glen Davis and Rasheed Wallace were able to
play tonight. Davis blacked out on the court with a concussion
during Boston's loss Wednesday, the result of an inadvertent elbow
from Magic center Dwight Howard. Wallace tweaked his back in
Wednesday's game but was cleared to play.
