(AP) -- Mizzou senior Aaron Senne has been named the Big 12 Conference Co-Player of the Year, .
. Senne, who shared the Player of the Year honor with Kansas State's Nick Martini, was named to the All-Big 12 team for the third time.
Heading into this week's Big 12 Championship, Senne is hitting .410, which is second best in the Big 12, and has 16 home runs and 56 RBI.
MU junior Brett Nicholas joined Senne on the All-Big 12 Conference First Team, while senior Michael Liberto earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention.
Senne will conclude his career at Missouri as the school's all-time leader in career hits and doubles and is in the top five in career home runs and RBI.
He had a 17-game hitting streak at one point this season and has had two multi-home run games this year
