CINCINNATI (AP) - Carson Palmer has another option in the
Cincinnati Bengals' passing game.

The Bengals took tight end Chase Coffman from Missouri late in
the third round of the draft on Sunday. Coffman is a 6-foot-5
player known for his ability to make tough catches. He'll have to
work on his blocking in the pros.

Coffman was the second of Cincinnati's two picks in the third
round. They took a chance earlier in the round, taking inconsistent
defensive end Michael Johnson from Georgia Tech. Johnson is tall
and fast, but tends to follow a good play with a bad one. The
Bengals are hoping to turn him into a third-down pass rusher.
