(AP) -- Center Rudy Niswanger has signed a restricted free agent tender with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs also announced Friday that free agent tight end Tony Curtis had signed a free agent contract.
Niswanger, 6-5, 301, started 15 games for Kansas City last year. He entered the NFL as a rookie free agent from LSU in 2006.
The 6-foot-5 Curtis spent the past three seasons with Dallas and saw action in 36 games, catching 11 passes for 80 yards and three touchdowns.
On Thursday, the Chiefs traded 10-time Pro Bowl tight end Tony Gonzalez to Atlanta for a second-round draft pick in 2010.
