OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (AP) -- Big 12 Commissioner Dan Beebe says it's likely that the conference's basketball tournaments will return to Oklahoma City.
But no firm decision will be made until sometime in 2010. Beebe says the sites of future conference basketball tournaments
likely will be determined during the Big 12's annual spring meeting in May 2010.
After years of going between Kansas City, Mo., and Dallas, the tournaments first were held in Oklahoma City in 2007, then went
back to Kansas City last year. The tournaments will return to Kansas City in 2010 and 2011.
Beebe says the conference likes having the events in both Kansas City and Oklahoma City.
