(AP) -- Riders will reverse course for the third Tour of Missouri this September, with the world-class cycling event starting in St. Louis and ending in Kansas City.
The first two events began in Kansas City and worked their way across the state. This year's event begins on Sept. 7 and concludes on Sept. 13.
Other cities chosen for the route are Ste. Genevieve, Cape Girardeau, Farmington, Rolla, St. James, Jefferson City, Sedalia,Chillicothe and St. Joseph.
Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder, chair of the Missouri Tourism Commission, said 32 cities requested involvement in this year's event.
