Tigers claw their way to Final Four birth

St. Louis, MO - The Kirksville softball team defeated Winfield 3-2 in 12 innings Saturday; advancing the Tigers to the Final Four. Jackie Bishop led off the decisive inning with a double and was pinch run for by Shelbi Baumgartner. Kelsey Jacques proceeded to drive Baumgartner home with the winning run. Bishop got the win, going the distance on the mound. Kirksville plays again Friday in St. Joseph against Cape Girardeau Notre Dame. First pitch is 1:30 PM.
