KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- Kirksville senior Lauren Updyke ran her best time of the season to finish first in the Kirksville Invitational. Updyke ran the course in 21:14.53 Tuesday, Oct. 14 at the Kirksville Country Club.

Girls – 1, Lauren Updyke, 21:14.53.  10, Brier Skogsberg, 23:46.07.  12, Niki Kenney, 25:54.24.  13, Estela Gingerich, 26:15.72.  16, Margo Kraus, 28:58.23.   

The Kirksville boys and girls squads each took second place in Tuesday’s meet.

Senior David Huskisson set a personal best and course record of 16:10.97.

Boys – 1, David Huskisson, 16:10.97, course record.  5, Jared Fox, 19:07.42.  6, Henry Janssen, 19:24.73.  10, Andrew Johnson, 20:02.7.  11, Brandon Harrison, 20:17.43.  Ryan Gross, 21:06.8.  Paul Davis, 21:24.55.  Caleb Foglesong, 21:50.65. Cooper Smith, 22:18.47.

The Kirksville cross country team will travel to Hannibal Saturday, Oct. 18 for the conference meet.  It starts at 9:45 a.m.  The boys will run the first race of the day.
