(AP) -- St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola could practice this week after getting limited snaps in Sunday's victory at Arizona due to a right foot or heel injury.
Coach Jeff Fisher said Monday that Amendola was "a little sore" but had a "chance" to get on the field in preparation for this week's home game against the 49ers.
Amendola leads the Rams with 51 catches with an 11.2-yard average and two touchdowns.
He persuaded coaches and medical staff to let him play against the Cardinals, but was used mainly as a decoy on his seven snaps with one catch for 38 yards before sitting out the second half.
Fisher said the Rams (4-6-1) had no other injury issues coming out of a victory that snapped a five-game winless streak.
