 Missouri Basketball is back in the NCAA Tournament for a school record-tying fifth consecutive year as the Tigers face former Iowa State Head Coach Larry Eustachy and the Colorado State Rams on Thursday night at approximately 8:20 p.m. CT at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky.

 Missouri last played in five consecutive NCAA Tournaments from 1986-90 and 1999-03 .

The Tigers have never made six consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament in school history, but this current run of five straight trips to the Big Dance is the longest active streak in the SEC  Flordia is second with four.

Missouri is a No. 9 seed for the fourth time in program history

 Mizzou's most recent stint as a No. 9 seed came in 2001 when the Tigers toppled now conference foe Georgia (70-68) before falling to No. 1 seed Duke (94-81) in Greensboro, N.C.

Mizzou was also a No. 9 seed in 1981 and 2000.

Mizzou will play in Rupp Arena for the second time this season

Missouri dropped a 90-83 overtime decision to Kentucky on Feb. 23 before ESPN Gameday despite a career high 27 points and 10 assists from Phil Pressey.

 Missouri last played an NCAA Tournament game in the gym of a conference foe in 1980 in Lincoln, Neb

when the No. 5-seeded Tigers topped No. 12-seeded San Jose State (61-51) and No. 4-seeded Notre Dame (87-84, OT) .

Missouri is 3-0 in NCAA Tournament games played on the home court of a league rival.

Missouri has just two players that have suited up for the Tigers in an NCAA Tournament game .

Laurence Bowers has been a part of the last five Missouri trips to the NCAA Tournament (redshirted in 2011-12), including four wins

Three of those wins came in 2009 (Elite Eight) and a fourth win came in 2010

 Phil Pressey is making his third trip to the NCAA Tournament with the Tigers
