On Thursday January 24th the Macon R-1 School Board named Jason Martie as the Head Baseball coach for the Macon Tigers. 

Jason has been an assistant baseball coach at Macon for the last 8 years. 

Prior to coming to Macon, Jason was the Head Baseball coach at Moberly for 3 years. 

He had also served one year as an assistant coach at Centralia. 

Jason is replacing Justin Lucas who resigned last fall when he took a different job in a nearby town. 

Long-time volunteer assistant coach Larry Bagby will move into the assistant spot vacated by Martie.
