D.J. Bennett of IHCC signs with Oklahoma

(AP) -- D.J. Bennett from Indian Hills Community College and Gonzaga transfer Ryan Sapngler signed Monday with Oklahoma, joining high-school players Isaiah Cousins, Buddy Hield, Jelon Hornbeak and C.J. Cole in coach Lon Kruger's  recruiting class.

Bennett and Spangler are forwards who stand 6 feet, 8 inches tall.

Bennett averaged nine points and six rebounds last season as a sophomore at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa.

He is from Orland Park, Ill.

Spangler averaged 2.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in about 6½ minutes per game last season as a freshman at Gonzaga.

He averaged 29.2 points in his senior season at Bridge Creek High School.
