Truman split in conference game

Both Truman teams traveled to Lindenwood today for another conference game. The men couldn't hold off the Lions. The Lions out rebounded the Bulldogs by 19 and shot 56% from the field. Even with sophomore Seth Jacksons 20 points the guys couldn't finish. They go into their next conference game on Thursday night with a 2 and 2 conference record. The women took control in the second half of their game doing what they do best. Scoring a whopping 49 points in the second half the girls beat Lindenwood 86 to 65. they shot 63% from long range and went 6 for 8 in the last 20 minutes. Becka McHenry led the team with 20 points and Amy Briggs scored 4 of 5 three's to match her career high with 16 points. Trumans overall record now stands at 10-2 while their conference record is 3-1. they host the University of Central Oklahoma on Thursday night.
