FAIRFIELD, IOWA -- Thursday was all about giving back to the community at Fesler Auto Mall in Fairfield.

If 50 people came in and registered, Fesler Auto Mall and Ford Motor Company would donate $10 per registered person to the Lord’s Cupboard in Jefferson County, up to $500.

The Lords Cupboard serves between 75 and 100 families a month.

“The Lords Cupboard is a partnership that we've had for a couple of years. This time of the year is really important for them. Their stocks usually run low around the holiday season and that's one of the best times for giving back to the community is around the holiday season so this is one of several that we're going to do here to finish up the year with, with the Lords Cupboard,” said Brian Starnes, Fesler Auto Mall.

In conjunction to raising money for the Lord’s Cupboard, the day was also the 2012 Fusion Launch Event.
