(AP) -- With 38 tackles through 6 games,  Sheldon Richardson is amazingly Mizzou's 2nd-leading tackler, despite being a defensive tackle.

He also ranks 1st in the SEC among defensive linemen with his 38 total tackles, and his per-game tackles average of 6.33 ranks him 27th in the SEC among all players, and 2nd among defensive linemen (Damontre Moore of Texas A&M has 7.00 per game in 5 games).

Richardson had a QB sack and 1.5 TFLs in all last Saturday against Vanderbilt, as the Tiger defense limited the Commodore offense to just 295 yards on the night.

He finished the game with 5 tackles and added a QB hurry to his stat line, as well.
