(AP) -- Alabama coach Nick Saban says the latest Southeastern Conference weekend shows how little predictions mean in college football.

The top-ranked Crimson Tide, which plays at Missouri Saturday, returns from an open date to a different SEC landscape - except at the top.

Saban said Monday Florida's win over LSU and South Carolina beating Georgia shows the game's parity.

He says it demonstrates how pundits "are badly mistaken when you make teams that are like so much better than everybody else."

Some Alabama players remember being in a similar situation two years ago. That's when the Tide won its first five games before losing at South Carolina.
