The Bulldogs move to 4-2 on the season while UNK falls to 0-6.

Derek Koon got Truman on the board with a 26-yard field goal on the opening possession of the game to cap off an 11-play 51-yard drive.

The Lopers sustained their best drive of the game with a seven-play 92-yard drive that was finished off early in the second quarter on an eight-yard rush by Steven Rush.

The Bulldogs would take the lead as Brett Nagel reached across the goalline with 6:10 left in the half on a 12-yard reception from Conrad Schottel.

Grier then extended the lead to 12 with a 20-yard reception at the 3:22 mark of the half. Grier had 143 yards receiving at half and finished with 178 yards for the game to move to eighth in the Bulldog Top-10 career receiving yard list.

The defense shutout the Lopers in the second half with Richie Schumacher leading the squad with 12 tackles.
