Iowa Indy Car race to be held on a Sunday in 2013

(AP) -- The IndyCar series race at Iowa Speedway will be held on a Sunday afternoon in 2013.

The series announced Sunday that the Iowa race will be held on June 23 of next year.

The event on Iowa's short oval will be staged on a Sunday after two years of being held on a Saturday night.

The seventh annual IndyCar race in Iowa will be broadcast on ABC.
