The Missouri Tiger football team throttled down the contact Saturday morning as they held a limited contact practice on Faurot Field.  Working out in shorts and shoulder pads, no score was kept, but the action was still competitive as today marks only two weeks until the 2012 opener against Southeastern Louisiana.

The team will have meetings Saturday afternoon, followed by the traditional rookie skits at dinner this evening.  They will be off Sunday and Monday, as the fall semester at Mizzou gets started, and will return to the practice field Tuesday afternoon.

Perhaps the biggest development today was the full return of OL Justin Britt. The junior right tackle had missed all of camp previously, as he recovered from a Jones fracture in his left foot during the summer.  The offensive line also got a second new face added to the mix, as Mitch Hall, a brand-new transfer from Ole Miss, made his initial practice as a Tiger.  He will wear #73 in the Black & Gold.

James Franklin did not throw today, as it was the third previously-scheduled day of rest for the junior signal caller.

Sophomore FS Braylon Webb will be out for approximately 7-10 days, after he had arthroscopic surgery performed yesterday on his left knee.  Webb, a 2011 Big 12 All-Freshman Team selection, recently sustained a tear of his lateral meniscus in the knee, and it was determined that getting it fixed up during camp would be the best course of action.
