MORAVIA, IA -- A record turnout helped organizers meet their fundraising goal of $7,800 at the 6th annual Mohawk Golf Classic this past weekend.

In total, the Classic has raised $42,000 for the Moravia communtiy in its short span.

The Classic was held at the Preserve at Rathbun Lake and 27 groups of 4 set out on the course.

The money the Classic raised will go towards purchasing a new wrestling mat for Moravia students.
