Ottumwa Star Commits To D2 School

Kelsey Nickerson has signed on to play basketball at William Jewell College.

Nickerson was named First Team All-CIML Metro this year while also being selected to the Iowa Coaches First Team All-State.

The guard holds many records for the Bulldogs including being the school's all time leading scorer with 1,334 career points. 

She scored 41 points against Marshalltown this year, a school single-game record.

Nickerson is going to the Cardinals, who will play their first season in Division 2 next year after transitioning from NAIA.
