Do you have your NCAA bracket filled out?

If you want to test your skills, go to our website heartlandconnection.com and you could win a trip to Las Vegas.

If you want to fill your bracket out by the numbers, pick the top four seeds since 1985. Here are their records in the first round:

Number 1   96-0, Number 2    92-4, Number 3    81-15 and Number 4    78-18

Number one seeds are 84 and 12 in the seconf round and 69 and 15 in the regional semi-finals.

Don't be fooled by the #12 over #5 seed. Since 1985 the #5 has a 65 and 29 record. However, the number 9 seed has a 52 and 44 record over the number 8 seed.

If you want to forget the numbers, go with your favorite team for at least two rounds, Missouri could go for.

If you like North Dakota State, just pick them in the first round.

If your favorite color is orange, take Syracuse.

If you had a good time with a woman at Spring Break from Florida State named Vanessa, pick them in two games.

Northern Iowa, the Hawkeye State's only hope.

Ohio State, Teresa Carter's forecast would be sunny but it could be stormy after the first round.

By the way, Missouri should end the season with a 31 and 7 record. You do the math.

They probably didn't cover it because they are to busy showing 'the girls' instead of actually covering sports that matter. Everybody should go and vote on the sports poll question- vote no, so we can make more time for real sports instead of two girl texting.

Since our local media can't seem to cover the Newtown-Harris Tigers going to class 1A state championship and their run to get there I encourage fans to go to StJoechannel.com to see a great feature story on these kids and their community. This is real reporting. Too bad a tv station 2 1/2 hours away had to come do it!
