(AP) -- The cost of hunting and fishing is
going up in Missouri.
The higher prices for most hunting and fishing licenses take
effect next March. They're the first increases in five years and
amount to $2 or $3 each. The Conservation Commission says the
increases are based partly on inflation.
Missouri residents will pay $20 for firearms deer permits, up
from $17. Licenses for antlerless deer will rise to $10.
Combined hunting and fishing licenses will cost $22, also a $3
increase. Resident fishing licenses will rise to $14, and trout
fishing permits will cost $10.
For turkey licenses, Missouri residents will pay $20 for the
spring season and $15 for the fall hunt.
